First post, im excited!
So, ive decided to make a new blog because i love reviewing beauty products, clothes, shoes, new techniques applying make up and finding new products through word of mouth. I tend to read reviews and look up just about everything i buy and appreciate others that review them. All in all, its a lot of fun and makes shopping 10 times more exciting.
Ill do a recap for september because i havent bought anything for october yet
Smash box photo finish foundation primer --- one word: YES! this was the best 32$ ive EVER spent. makes your face silky smooth and if youre using a powder based foundation, it helps it stick and lasts 3 to 4 hours longer with a flawless complection.
Smash box eye shadow duo --- love it! great for every day wear.
Bobbi brown matte statin for lips in clay --- color washes me out, but used with a pink gloss it looks nice and classy. Very simple.
Bobbi brown shimmer brick compact in rose --- love it! brightens my face up and its very summery.
ID bare minerals in beautiful lisa --- great pigment eye loose eye shadow. good to mix things up with, since i wear very neutral colors.
Mac creme eye liner is dipdown --- good backup but you need a brush set for it.
Smash box proof creame eye liner palette --- Great when youre on the go, has its own brush in the compact and isnt bulky.
Ive also bought strivectin SD, but havent used it consistently. Ill start using it consistently on the first when i buy my october products for my new routine.
Ive had some philosophy testers, and all though i liked them, i didnt have enough product to see an actual change in my skin, so i think ill be brave and go buy a kit for october and see what all the hype is about. Their "make up optional" kit and peel is what ill probably get. If youve used these consistently, let me know how it worked out for you!
Octobers budget will be 400$. 200$ in the begining of the month for facial products and to buy my essentials and 200$ in the middle of the month for fall colors. Im reluctant to invest in fall colors since its still in the high 90's where i live and fall/winter clothes havent hit the stores yet.
Im also considering going back to a red head, though keeping the brown would be suitable for winter. Who knows, maybe ill get low lights?
